Swap in the optional 3.5mm cam (sold separately) and customize your machine to fit your style.
New Power Readout: What to Know About Hertz (Hz)
Unlike most machines that display voltage, the Solice Ergo uses Hertz (Hz) as its power readout. Why Hertz? It’s a more accurate way to measure performance, showing the exact frequency of needle movements per second. Voltage can fluctuate depending on the motor and friction—8.0v on one machine might equal 150Hz, while another could only reach 120Hz. Focusing on Hertz gives you a clear, consistent picture of how your machine is running.
If you’re new to using Hertz, here’s a quick guide to get started:
Fine Lines/Details: 50–80Hz
Shading: 80–100Hz
Color Packing: 100–150Hz
NOTE: These are just starting points. Adjust based on your hand speed, skin type, and experience. Don’t be afraid to experiment to find the perfect settings for your style.
